The article makes reference to one of Ben Keith’s clients, Barlyk Mendygaziyev, a U.S.-based Kazakh businessman. Mendygaziyev has been the subject of a bogus Interpol red notice and state-led raiding in which his family assets were seized and Kazakh prosecutors charged him with a host of crimes, including “tax evasion,” “financing terrorist activities” and “drug possession.”’
